Paris Cinco de Mayo

Bonjour Les Amis,

I suppose some of you are wondering why I decided to embark on a 2 month trip to France.  I suppose I could humor you and go into a long dissertation about why but the reality it was never about the "why" by rather the "why not?".  Well to that one i had plenty of reasons! Ok I know it's much easier said than done but making the decision was half the battle.  The other half was the logistics.  Do I quit my job?  (I did), Do I have enough money? (That is still debatable) , Was this my mid life crisis?  (uncontrollable laughter), NO!  It's just this was something I have always wanted to do and I just set out to do it.  The stuff in between was just collateral damage!!

So here I am in Paris, having a beer on Cinco De Mayo in the hotel lobby (Happy Birthday Mom!!) getting ready to start  my adventure with an open mind and most important open heart!

    Girlfriend - So glad you made it safely........have several beers along the way today! Send photos! Your decision to GO is inspirational at best! I'm jealous.
